Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Private Markets Review Associates .

This is not a traditional employment role. Associates operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.

Once approved, Private Markets Review Associates:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

• Gain access to live private equity, venture, credit, and real asset transactions requiring structured review

• Support investors, fund managers, and sponsors with investment evaluation and transaction readiness

• Conduct financial, structural, and risk-based assessments across private asset classes

• Build a verified private markets review track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Private Markets Review Associate · Lead Private Markets Review Associate · Private Markets Review Associate

Associate Levels & Pay RangesSenior Private Markets Review Associate

Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate private equity, infrastructure investing, or senior transaction advisory professionals with 5+ years of experience across private markets.

Lead Private Markets Review Associate

Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal evaluation, underwriting, modeling, or transaction execution experience.

Private Markets Review Associate

Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level professionals with strong financial modeling, valuation, and diligence capabilities.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on your certification approvals, Private Markets Review Associates may be engaged for:

Investment Review & Screening

• Initial deal screening and qualification analysis

• Business model and revenue quality review

• Sponsor and management team evaluation

• Capital structure and return profile analysis

• Identification of structural and downside risks

Financial Modeling & Valuation

• 3-statement financial models

• DCF / LBO modeling

• Private credit and structured finance modeling

• Commercial real estate underwriting

• Sensitivity and scenario analysis

• Comparable company and precedent transaction benchmarking

Diligence & Committee Support

• Quality of Earnings (QoE) review

• Risk assessment and red flag identification

• Data room review and validation

• Investment memo drafting and executive summaries

• Risk-adjusted return and downside case modeling

Associates may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Associates Start Earning

1. Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

2. Receive category-specific approvals (Review, Modeling, Valuation, Diligence)

3. Get verified on the platform

4. Begin earning income immediately through hourly private markets review projects and live deal assignments

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified associates are actively matched with investors and private capital sponsors across asset classes.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, FRM, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Private Markets Review Associate receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score , which determines:

• Platform visibility

• Approved private markets work categories

• Recommended hourly rates

• Eligibility for complex cross-asset mandates

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Associates are independent contractors, not employees

• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

• Associates may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

• Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Private Markets Review Associates do not:

• Provide investment advice

• Solicit securities

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, review, diligence, modeling, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
