Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of students, understanding their mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based interventions.

• Administering therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities to address the unique needs of each student, adjusting techniques as necessary for age and developmental considerations.

• Keeping meticulous clinical records, including treatment notes and progress reports, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulation standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educational staff, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for students.

• Facilitating education and support for students and their families, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to navigate mental health challenges and available resources.

• Participating in case consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and refine treatment strategies, thus fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Staying updated on current research and developments in mental health, incorporating new findings into your therapeutic practice for the best outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of students, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role is vital in creating a safe space for students to express their feelings and concerns while facilitating their access to therapeutic resources. The goal is to empower them, enabling a trajectory of positive life changes and enhanced school engagement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is essential.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting, providing psychotherapy services, with a focus on youth and adolescents preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this position is competitive, with a salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
