Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred to you by physicians.
• Assist in treating a diverse patient demographic, ensuring focused care for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our rehabilitation practices.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes using evidence-based methodologies.
• Administer skilled therapeutic care according to physician-defined plans, facilitating modifications in patient condition and functionality.
• Educate, consult, and train patients and their caregivers to enhance their understanding of treatment protocols and self-management techniques.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization and productivity goals to contribute toward business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily serve patients dealing with orthopedic issues, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, those undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation, and patients managing chronic pain. You will tailor your treatment strategies based on evidence-driven protocols to ensure effective recovery while providing holistic support to each individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, with an emphasis on orthopedic physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in word processing and computerized documentation systems.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with patients and maintain connections within the community.
