We are seeking a professional, highly-organized person to fill the important role at our Roanoke location – the role of Office Manager. This important role helps create and maintain a pleasant work environment, and it ensures high levels of organizational effectiveness, and communication.

The Office Manager’s duties crossover into three categories: Administration, Accounting, & Sales.

Job Responsibilities by Category:

• Administration

  ·

  · Assist with answering the phones

  · Assist with scheduling and preparation for office events

  · Maintain records of important company information

  · Schedule General Office Maintenance & Cleaning

  · Sending & Receiving Mail and Packages

  · Assist with Showroom organization

  · Ordering Supplies and Keeping Supplies organized and neat

  · Office Errands & Shopping

  • Provide support to walk in customers/visitors to the showroom

• Accounting

  · Post Vendor invoices into QuickBooks

  · Maintain Sales Tax Report Spreadsheet

  · Prepare weekly Check Reports for Admin Approval

  · Vendor Insurance Updates

  · Post Credit Card charges into QuickBooks

  · Post Sales Orders into QuickBooks

  · Pay Online bills

  · Assist with various record keeping duties

• Sales

  · Take Credit Card payments & Receive Checks

  · Assist with billing customers

  · Assist Salespeople as needed

  · Enter Change Orders into QuickBooks

  · Assist with Scheduling/Calendars

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Valid Driver’s License

• Strong work ethic

• Microsoft Office Proficiency-Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Excellent Organizational & Communication Skills

• QuickBooks Experience is a plus, but will train the right person

• Customer Service Skills— Ability to demonstrate basic cabinetry and countertop products to walk-in customers. Training is provided.

• Trustworthy to handle important and sensitive information

• Team Player: Willing to do what needs to be done to see the job is complete.

• Self-Motivated to grow and learn the position

• Work well independently

This job is an Administrative Tier 2 position, with a pay range of $19 -$24 per hour. It has a full benefits package, including 100% paid employee only health insurance (base plan), company paid life insurance (after six months) 401k with a match, and options for employee paid dental, AFLAC and more. *
