Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/HVTI unit setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and progressive care
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to designated units as operationally needed to care for the same patient population
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or applicable specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care unit experience
• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure
