Accounts Payable Specialist I

Description Administrative and accounting work assisting with the coordination of the accounts payable activities for the agency. Enter data into the agency’s computer system and compiling invoices for approval. Enter accounts payable invoices for future payments. Ability to meet established deadlines and reporting requirements. Compliance with established financial policies and procedures. Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and department directors. Why Join Our Team: Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four-year high school with additional course work in bookkeeping, accounting or related field; Some experience preferred in governmental and/or non-profit accounting; Some knowledge and expertise in computerized accounting applications; Good organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills; Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
