For more information, please visit Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist efficiently handles all accounts payable for a broad range of vendors and services. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and interacts with multiple departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Accounts Payable Specialist: Possesses the technical skills and accounting knowledge required to perform essential tasks in an efficient and effective manner Uses software programs related to the position Handles multiple assignments and prioritizes as needed Accepts new responsibilities and adapts well to changes Establishes a pattern of working independently and meeting deadlines Ensures invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner Ensures accurate filing and storage of records Possesses excellent customer/vendor relationship skills Handles complex situations with problem-solving skills Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree (preferred) High school diploma or GED (required) 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable (required) Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (including advanced knowledge of Excel) Proficiency with accounting software Ability to use 10-key calculators Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to maintain a flexible schedule Benefits Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug Coverage and Vision 401(k) Time off: 2 week paid vacation (full-time) / 1 week paid vacation (part-time) 12 paid sick days per year 11 paid holidays Paid Parental Leave Mileage & Cell Phone Reimbursement (when applicable) Tuition reimbursement and licensure supervision Growth & development through continuous training Clinical and administrative advancement opportunities *Benefits are excluded for variable status employees.
