Registered Nurse- PACU/Recovery Room PRN

Primary Patient Population: Pediatric through Adult Immediate post-operative period Primary skills utilized/learned: Maintain patient airway Assess hemodynamic stability and support Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures Assess Wound/incision integrity Overall patient assessment Personnel RN will work with: OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy Number of OR Suites/Cases: 26 beds (Bay platform) 40-50 surgical cases daily MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
