Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in planning and implementing treatment programs based on evidenced-based practice.
• Administer specific therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, hot/cold therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
• Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and their families on treatment plans, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments in compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain a high standard of infection control and safety protocols during patient care to prevent any risks of infection.
• Participate proactively in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to foster professional growth.
• Utilize technology effectively for scheduling, documentation, and communication within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied patient demographic, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patients of all ages. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate Degree.
• Current and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Virginia.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
