Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, identifying barriers to well-being and setting personalized goals.

• Deliver mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to the individual needs of clients, facilitating relaxation and emotional regulation.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during individual sessions, promoting self-awareness and stress management strategies.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and educational classes focused on mindfulness practices, coping strategies, and resilience-building techniques to enhance community mental health.

• Integrate mindfulness practices into various therapeutic modalities to address diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, treatment plans, and the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities, including workshops and conferences, to stay informed about the latest trends and research in mindfulness and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults seeking to improve their mental health and well-being through mindfulness and therapeutic interventions in our community health clinic setting. The diverse patient population includes those experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges, requiring a tailored, empathetic approach to support their unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Proven ability to deliver mindfulness-based interventions effectively and compassionately.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a calming therapeutic environment conducive to client growth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
