Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with TeamHealth, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.

• Delivering therapeutic services using various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, where you will engage with case managers and psychiatrists to ensure clients receive coordinated care and resources that support their recovery process.

• Providing crisis intervention services and immediate support for clients facing acute mental health distress, skillfully utilizing de-escalation techniques and compassionate communication.

• Participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting the importance of mental wellness across the Los Angeles community.

In this role, you will work with a rich tapestry of clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from various socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural groups. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building trusting relationships with clients.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage documentation and case records in a timely manner.
