Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – In-Office and Remote)

Seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support a law office in its business development and marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with the Director of Business Development and collaborate with team members and attorneys to strengthen client relationships, support new business opportunities, and enhance marketing efforts.

\n

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Support client relationship development, cross-selling initiatives, and expansion of existing engagements.
\n
• Prepare pitches, proposals, and client presentations by coordinating input from attorneys and ensuring timely delivery.
\n
• Research prospective clients, existing accounts, and competitive market trends to support business development strategies.
\n
• Coordinate submissions for legal rankings, industry directories, awards, and publications.
\n
• Assist with client events, sponsorships, conferences, networking initiatives, and related logistics.
\n
• Support attorney thought leadership initiatives, including speaking engagements, article placements, and published content.
\n
• Maintain practice area experience lists, case studies, and representative matter descriptions.
\n
• Update and maintain the CRM database, track business development activities, and support targeted outreach.
\n
• Assist with social media content, website updates, and marketing collateral.
\n
• Support departmental budgeting, expense tracking, invoice processing, and marketing requests.
\n
• Coordinate with external marketing and design vendors as needed.
\n
• Provide additional marketing and business development support as required.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree required.
\n
• 1–2 years of marketing and/or business development experience within a law firm.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
\n
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build effective working relationships with attorneys and colleagues across departments.
\n
• Proactive, dependable, and professional, with a flexible, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
\n
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
