Our work culture prioritizes mental wellness, ensuring you have the space to practice self-care.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), designed to assist clients in managing stress and achieving emotional well-being.Perform initial assessments to understand each client's background, stressors, and aspirations, and develop customized treatment plans integrating mindfulness techniques.Offer individual and group therapy sessions that guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques, nurturing a state of self-awareness and emotional balance.Lead group workshops that educate participants about stress management strategies and resilience-building, fostering an empowering environment for healing.Collaborate closely with other therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client care.Document client progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to track effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.Engage in ongoing professional development and personal mindfulness practice to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.Patient Population / Client FocusOur therapist will work primarily with adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. The emphasis on mindfulness practices provides a unique medium to help clients navigate their emotional landscapes, promoting resilience and fostering coping strategies in their everyday lives.QualificationsA Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is mandatory.Dedication to the principles of mindfulness is essential, with some experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) being a significant asset.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, which contribute to establishing a supportive and calming environment for clients.Preferred ExperienceExperience in telehealth or remote therapy delivery, which can enhance efficiency and client connectivity.Knowledge or training in additional therapeutic modalities that complement mindfulness practices is also an advantage.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year.
