Business Development Manager

Generate new leads and sell a portfolio of services Promote and cross-sell products and services for CCS, PNE Construction, and WasteXpress according to customer needs Work collaboratively in a team environment Safely operate and maintain company or personal vehicles as required, complying with traffic laws and company policies Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities Identify and pursue new business partnerships, potential clients, and revenue-growth channels through cold calling, networking, social media outreach, and trade shows Cultivate relationships with potential clients, existing customers, partners, and industry influencers Develop and manage a sales pipeline through the sales process Present proposals, negotiate, and close deals Prepare weekly reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and sales pipeline progress Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events Meet or exceed sales goals to drive financial growth Prospect for and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline Develop client quotes and proposals Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers Partner with operations to improve customer experience and build customer loyalty Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver’s License Required Must possess a minimum of 8-10 years industrial, commercial electrical services experience Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read and estimate from blueprints with proven success Thorough understanding of electrical code with the ability to articulate the electrical code that meets the needs of the customer Industrial, commercial electrical services background is a must Proven Business Development/Sales track record Proven ability to execute sales objectives Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills Must have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time Move about inside and outside offices Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machines, computer printer, etc. Occasionally ascend/descend stairs Ability to accurately communicate in such a way that others will understand Occasionally move office equipment up to 10lbs Could occasionally be in outdoor weather conditions Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily Subject to pre-employment drug screening including that of THC All new hires are subject to testing in accordance with local, federal, and state guidelines Core Competencies Demonstrates strong business development and sales capabilities with a proven track record in industrial and commercial electrical services.
