Vice President - Energy & Infrastructure Investing

Our client, a leading global alternative investment manager, is seeking a Vice President to join its Houston-based investment team focused on energy and infrastructure investing. This individual will play a critical role in originating, evaluating, structuring and executing investments across the full transaction lifecycle. Responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, developing investment theses, leading financial analysis and due diligence, negotiating transaction terms, driving execution through closing and presenting recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees. The Vice President will also oversee portfolio investments, work closely with management teams to create value post-investment, mentor junior investment professionals and help shape the team's broader investment strategy and pipeline. The ideal candidate will have 6–10+ years of experience within private equity, private credit, infrastructure investing, energy investing or investment banking, with a proven track record of leading complex transactions, sound investment judgment and managing deal processes with a focus on the Energy / Infrastructure industry sectors.
