Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH), a nationally recognized tertiary pediatric center, is seeking an additional Pediatric Nephrologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join our expanding and highly collaborative Division of Pediatric Nephrology. Position Overview

\n

This is a full-time faculty position with a balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, academic, and leadership opportunities. Candidates with interest and experience in leadership will have the opportunity to be considered for a Medical Director role in either Pediatric Dialysis or Pediatric Kidney Transplantation, depending on expertise and programmatic fit.

Clinical Responsibilities

  Full-time clinical role with inpatient and consult coverage every fourth week

  When not on inpatient service, 5–6 half-day clinics per week, including opportunities for:

    Outreach clinics

    Telemedicine

  Practice within a well-supported multidisciplinary care model, including:

    Dedicated clinic and dialysis nurses

    Transplant coordinators

    Social workers

    Dietitians

    Pharmacists

    Research coordinators

  Access to a full spectrum of advanced nephrology therapies and procedures, including:

    Acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis

    Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)

    Plasmapheresis and lipid apheresis
