Daily Responsibilities: Provide small animal care and support to veterinarians Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures Implement Fear Free techniques to reduce stress in patients Assist with preventive care treatments Perform IV catheterization and sample collection Required Skills: Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician Experience with anesthesia, catheterization, and ultrasound Ability to perform dental prophylaxis and administer medications Strong lab experience, including venipuncture and X-rays Knowledge of critical care, surgery, and triage procedures Nice to Have Skills: Experience with discharge planning for patients Familiarity with medication administration and anesthesia monitoring Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $37,000.00 Maximum Salary: $44,000.00 401(k) plan Flexible schedules Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Company Information: Ireland Animal Clinic provides veterinary services and comprehensive pet care to the South Bend area, offering medical, surgical, and preventive care for pets.
