Insurance Recovery and Counseling Midlevel Associate

Position Summary We are looking for an Associate to join our Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice group at our Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and experience counseling and representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, including arbitrations. Responsibilities Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage frameworks. Counsel and represent policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation. Work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail while delivering client service. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Admission to the state bar and in good standing or ability to become admitted promptly. Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in insurance litigation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. High degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. Compensation Base Compensation: $250,000–$360,000 per year, determined during the interview process.
