About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Philanthropy to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of giving and community impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of annual giving programs, as well as a comprehensive calendar of philanthropic events. This role demands a leader who can identify innovative opportunities to grow donor engagement and increase contributions, and who is dedicated to advancing the organization's fundraising goals and philanthropic initiatives. The Chief of Philanthropy will work closely with executive leadership, fully understand the organization's mission, vision, and values, and be adept at building and leading a high-performing team. Applicants for the Chief of Philanthropy position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of 7 years' of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record in securing major gifts. A CFRE certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-directed and results-oriented philanthropy and fundraising leader, with exceptional communication skills and a professional, executive presence. A forward-thinking mindset is essential, as is the ability to translate the organization's vision into meaningful, impactful initiatives. The role requires a full-time, onsite commitment, and the candidate should be prepared for a demanding yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the community.
