Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing workplace investigations, supporting conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role acts as a trusted advisor to both employees and administration, promoting fair, consistent, and respectful treatment across the organization.

Copies of certifications and degree Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or a similar role. - HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.

Comments and Other Information

Position is primarily located in Waterford; however, travel to Modesto and Union City may be required. Part-time allotment $750-$1,125/month based on FTE. CalPERS retirement. Connecting Waters Charter Schools are TK-12 grade independent public charter schools that services the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, San Joaquin, Stanislaus Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, and Tuolumne.
