This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with the school community. You will engage with students, teachers, and parents through virtual interactions. This setup allows you to provide crucial support while maintaining work-life balance, with typical hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. While some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary based on student needs, this role promotes a supportive and collaborative work culture.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify students’ emotional and psychological needs, developing tailored treatment plans to support their growth and recovery.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy, either individually or in group settings, to address student concerns effectively.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups that promote mental health awareness and community connection among students and parents.
\n
• Collaborate closely with school staff, including teachers and administrators, as well as parents, to coordinate care and support for students facing mental health challenges.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, helping stabilize students and connect them with necessary resources.

• Educate patients about mental health, providing valuable information on treatment options and community resources to aid their overall well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development sessions to remain informed about emerging best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal therapist will primarily work with students ranging in age from elementary to high school. This role involves addressing a multitude of concerns including anxiety, depression, bullying, and behavioral issues, providing essential therapeutic support during critical developmental stages. Your contributions will significantly influence students' emotional health, their academic performance, and their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and culturally competent therapeutic approaches.

• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within diverse population settings, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
