HR Manager

Up to $115k for an HR Manager!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $115k

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Engagement & Retention

1. Design, implement, and continuously improve employee engagement strategies that strengthen morale, productivity, and retention across operations and field teams.
2. Partner with leaders to identify drivers of turnover and develop targeted retention initiatives, onboarding improvements, career pathing, recognition programs, and employee feedback loops.
3. Lead employee listening efforts (surveys, focus groups, stay interviews) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
4. Serve as a trusted resource to employees and managers, promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.

Talent Acquisition & Employee Sourcing

1. Own and improve employee sourcing strategies to support operations growth.
2. Evaluate and implement modern sourcing tools, technologies, and partnerships to expand the candidate pipeline, improve efficiency of staff, and reduce timetofill.
3. Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, improve job descriptions, and strengthen interview and selection practices.
4. Analyze hiring metrics (applicant flow, timetofill, quality of hire, retention by role/location) and recommend process improvements.

HR Operations & Compliance

1. Manage core HR processes including onboarding, performance management support, employee relations, and offboarding.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
3. Drive competitive compensation and benefits administration partnering with leadership and vendors.
4. Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and reporting.

Required Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within an industrial services, manufacturing, construction, or fieldbased environment.
3. HR certification (SHRMCP, SHRMSCP, PHR, or SPHR).
4. Handson experience improving employee sourcing and hiring processes, including highvolume or skilled labor recruiting with skillsbased hiring approaches.
5. Working knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practices.
6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels of the organization.
