Loan Operations Specialist

We are presently seeking a accomplished Loan Operations Specialist. Prior working knowledge of commercial loan documents to include Notes, Mortgages, Loan Agreements, Guaranty, Settlement/Closing Statements, UCC, Special Warranty Deds, Security Agreements, etc., is a must. This role will report directly to the Manager of Loan Operations and is an overtime eligible position. Summary Reviews and processes daily incoming mail. Distributes other department mail as appropriate. Prepares new loan documents for filing and imaging (Note, Mortgage, Loan Agreement, Guaranty, Settlement/Closing Statement, UCC, Special Warranty Deed, Security Agreement, etc.…) Performs life-of-loan routine records maintenance to track and obtain post-closing/periodic documentation by use and update of the bank’s “tickler (suspense) system.” Performs scanning and off-site file maintenance by sending loose documents for scanning to the bank’s off-site vendor and verifies that the bank’s tickler system has been updated. Maintains scanning manifest for accountability and tracking of files. Researches and corrects errors in imaging system and from time to time will need to request files, documents, or boxes from the bank’s imaging vendor, Performs back up duties for coworkers when needed, including processing loan payments, sending participation payments, folding and sending mail, and monitoring Loan Operations mailbox. Performs daily monitoring of Hazard and Flood Insurance and force places policies when required through the Proctor System. Processes daily loan payments through Branch Capture system. Processes and prepares paid Notes and Satisfaction of Mortgages when loans are paid in full. Anticipate, plan, and independently prioritize routine daily workload in an efficient, organized manner to optimize time wisely and achieve optimum, positive results. Handles customer calls for requests such as research, payment processing, new loan referrals and loan information. Directs calls to various departments as appropriate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
