Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, which direct the creation of customized treatment plans.

  Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to deliver engaging therapy services to individuals, families, and groups.

  Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to develop a holistic approach to each client's care, ensuring that treatment is comprehensive and coordinated.

  Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, applying your clinical skills and empathy to help stabilize their situation effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Phoenix Behavioral Counseling Services, you will work with a broad range of clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will engage with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders, enhancing your cultural competence and clinical skills.

Qualifications\n

  Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients while effectively conveying treatment goals.

  Exhibit cultural competence, demonstrating sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of clients.

  Strong organizational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

  Two or more years of experience working as a licensed mental health therapist, preferably in a community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
