Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 10/12/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n ICU Registered Nurse (RN) \n We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic floating resource pool, providing critical care and support across various intensive care and intermediate care units. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced environments and be adaptable to different clinical settings. Key Responsibilities:\n \n Float to various units including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU, Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, and more. \n Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients and support with various diagnoses and treatment plans. \n Manage care for patients boarding in the emergency department prior to room assignments. \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care. \n Adhere to established policies for patient care and unit procedures. \n Shift Information:\n \n Night shifts available: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) \n Must work every other weekend and every other holiday. \n Work requirements include two out of three winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. \n Flexible scheduling options: can offer 36 or 48 hours \n Qualifications:\n \n Current BLS and ACLS certification required. \n Prior experience in an ICU setting is essential. \n Proficient in using Epic electronic health record system. \n Must be able to adhere to floating policies and procedures. \n A Virginia nursing license is required; pending license applications are acceptable. \n \n Join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of patients in critical need.
