Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Physical Therapist to join our team at Sutter Physical Therapy Clinic, located in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific needs.
• Employ diverse therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and the use of rehabilitation equipment to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of their conditions, the rehabilitation process, and the usage of any assistive devices required for recovery.
• Facilitate training sessions for patients, caregivers, and other health team members on effective physical therapy techniques and usage of therapeutic equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through active participation in education workshops and professional development opportunities.
• Engage in regular team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and improve clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will range from children to seniors, dealing with various conditions like orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. This diversity allows you to apply a wide variety of therapeutic techniques and continuously grow your clinical expertise while contributing positively to each patient's rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction and education.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and tracking patient progress.
• A commitment to professional development and staying current in best practices related to physical therapy.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
