Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Happy Body Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their unique symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and formulating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Instructing patients on therapeutic exercises while demonstrating proper techniques to ensure safe execution.
• Administering manual therapies, including massage and stimulation techniques, to promote healing and improve patient mobility.
• Guiding patients in the proper use of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their daily functioning.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records of treatments and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Providing education and advice to patients and their families concerning in-home treatment options and exercises to maintain progress.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
