Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to identify their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices that include exercise, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses, making real-time adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation through our electronic health records (EHR) system, tracking progress and communicating changes with the rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, rehabilitation techniques, and the use of any prescribed assistive devices.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our therapeutic services.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practice by attending workshops, seminars, and relevant training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on diverse patient populations, including children, adults, and seniors recovering from a variety of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and goals, making your role integral to their journey towards recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure in the state of New Jersey as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records systems.
• A passion for patient care and a strong commitment to professional development.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• Two (2) or more years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation.
• Experience with assistive devices and understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, complemented by an attractive benefits package. This includes:
