Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor treatment programs for diverse patient populations, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, which include manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain open communication with patients, caregivers, and the multidimensional team to maximize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Document patient progress, retain accurate treatment records, and achieve minimum utilization goals to support practice objectives.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and stay updated on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will work with at Ernest Physical Therapy encompasses a variety of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine cases. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in digital documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, candidates with clinical experiences in outpatient physical therapy settings, especially dealing with varied patient demographics and conditions, are highly advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
