Work Environment

In this full-time role, you will have a stable Monday to Friday schedule consisting of 40 hours each week. Work is performed primarily onsite in patients' homes, allowing for a more personalized rehabilitation experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing a comprehensive understanding of their medical history and functional goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs tailored to the needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Administer specialized therapeutic interventions at patients' homes to enhance their functional abilities and achieve desired outcomes as per the physician's plan of care.
• Regularly assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary and communicating effectively with both patients and their families.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with tools and knowledge to continue their rehabilitation efforts.
• Document treatment procedures and patient progress accurately and timely to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and service delivery, focusing on maximizing patient outcomes.
• Meet utilization goals and engage in performance metrics contributing to both business operations and patient success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Advantage Muscle Care Rehabilitation, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele ranges from pediatric to geriatric, which offers a diverse patient base and the opportunity to treat various conditions, customizing rehabilitation strategies based on age and activity level.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience in outpatient or home health physical therapy, preferably with an orthopedic focus.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure effective patient interactions and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Basic proficiency in word processing and other computer applications relevant to documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with utilizing therapeutic modalities and advanced exercise techniques for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients, fostering a supportive environment conducive to recovery.
• Active involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to physical therapy and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits
