Work Environment

This is an onsite position, with a weekly schedule of 40 hours, which may include variable weekends. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Atmore, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans addressing diverse functional limitations.
• Implement treatment interventions based on established best practices and continually assess patient progress through documented records.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote rehabilitation services and contribute to the organization's goals of health improvement.
• Supervise and support assigned physical therapy aides and students, ensuring the optimal utilization of department resources.
• Document all patient progress and treatment modifications in compliance with state regulations and professional standards.
• Engage in professional development through attending in-service trainings and staff meetings, ensuring you remain current with industry practices.
• Contribute to program development aimed at enhancing therapy services and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility issues. This role emphasizes providing compassionate care and adapting approaches to meet the cultural and age-related needs of each patient.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and word processing applications.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, additional experience in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation or geriatric therapy is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and advanced therapeutic techniques will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
