Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical status and needs, developing personalized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise programs, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs and outcomes.
• Document patients' treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes meticulously in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and use of assistive devices to enhance their self-care and independence.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and medical professionals, to create integrated care strategies for complex cases.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy by participating in workshops, continuing education opportunities, and professional networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role involves working with a diverse group of patients, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, each with unique therapeutic needs. You will provide care for individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgical procedures, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to adapt treatment strategies to different age groups and rehabilitation requirements will play a vital role in each patient's journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment while also demonstrating independence in patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Current CPR certification is necessary to ensure safety and preparedness in emergency situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
