Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, formulating individualized treatment plans to address their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as exercise prescription, manual therapy, and usage of therapeutic modalities to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Carefully document treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress in compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously monitor and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, ensuring adaptable care that meets evolving goals.
• Advise on and provide training for patients and caregivers regarding the use of assistive devices and physical therapy techniques for effective self-care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and collaboration with peers, keeping abreast of advancements in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient intake will encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals of all ages—children, adults, and seniors—dealing with a range of physical health challenges. You will work closely with clients who require rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This diversity allows you to employ various treatment methodologies tailored to individual patient journeys, thereby improving their functional capabilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaborating with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficient in computer systems and documentation processes relevant to healthcare.

Preferred Experience
