Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results accurately to guide the treatment plan.
• Implement and execute customized treatment protocols based on individual evaluations, patient presentations, and best practice standards.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that tracks patient progress, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, make modifications to treatment plans as necessary, and provide consultation for any rehabilitation needs.
• Engage in discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that patients are supported in their recovery journey beyond the initial treatment phase.
• Participate actively in facility meetings to discuss patient care strategies and contribute to team goals.
• Stay informed about changes in the healthcare landscape and adapt treatment methodologies accordingly to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Regain Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, strength, and function while ensuring their comfort and emotional well-being throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is necessary.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focused on orthopedic rehabilitation is required. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and technologies is preferred. Candidates who have demonstrated proficiency in working collaboratively with healthcare teams will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits
