Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions through one-on-one sessions, and facilitate group therapy for various populations, including families and couples.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to address individual mental health challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals within the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client information is protected and accurate.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a part of Open Doors Counseling Group, you will provide therapeutic services to a diverse population facing various mental health issues. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related challenges, family conflicts, and substance abuse. Your expertise will help clients who often have limited access to care, ensuring they receive the support they need to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Possess an active and unrestricted LPC license for the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated expertise or additional certifications in areas such as family therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse treatment are highly valued.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
