This includes, but is not limited to installing netting, installing covers, installing label, boxing, tub building, bed assembly, product management and more. Performs all of these responsibilities while creating a safe work environment for him/her and all other technicians.*Primary duties and responsibilities include the following, however, Management reserves the right to assign or reassign other appropriate duties to this job at any time.** Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents* Lead by example, representing the company’s mission, vision, and values and promoting a positive environment.* Maintains high quality, efficient operation of product and equipment.* Wrap mattress with a protective covering and sew ends of covering.* Insert wrapped mattress into a consumer-ready textile.* Seal covered mattress, labeling and applicable documentation into plastic packaging.* Box and strap finished mattress for shipping.* Work at different stations as production needs require.* Operate automated assembly equipment utilizing the HMI controls, and perform manual equipment operation or trouble-shooting as necessary.* Maintain and clean assigned work area.* Assists with other tasks associated with Assembly.* Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.* Trained to use inventory management scanners.* Participate in inventory.**What You Will Need:***To perform this job successfully, an associate must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
