Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of patients, taking into account their personal histories and current challenges.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster community support and address prevalent mental health issues such as stress management and coping skills.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and fellow counselors to coordinate integrated and holistic care for patients, ensuring all aspects of their mental health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, leveraging your expertise to stabilize client situations and promote safety.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge to foster recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents experiencing anxiety to adults dealing with chronic mental health issues. Clients may present with multiple diagnoses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and severe mental illnesses. Your engagement and interventions can help facilitate their journey toward recovery through critical support and personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold one of the following licenses: LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to diverse patient needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and colleagues, fostering a referral network and collaborative atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n
