This full-time role is essential in expanding access to mental health services for children and adolescents. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility to work from home while engaging with patients via telehealth platforms. However, our outpatient office in San Jose remains the primary facility for administrative purposes and team meetings. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to effectively evaluate the unique needs of children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider family dynamics, developmental milestones, and specific therapeutic goals.

• Provide various therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Deliver family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a nurturing and supportive environment for young patients.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a continuum of care and integrated treatment approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention and support services during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective responses.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and available treatment resources to enhance understanding and engagement in the healing process.

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential documentation to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on current mental health practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently hold valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Possess a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within a pediatric or adolescent mental health setting.

• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Capable of establishing rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families to facilitate effective therapeutic alliances.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with a working knowledge of relevant digital tools and platforms.

• Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support a cohesive treatment approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, retirement savings with employer contributions, generous paid time off (PTO), and professional liability coverage.
