Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement innovative dessert menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a full-service restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts.
- Creativity and attention to detail in dessert presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
