Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional within a school setting is required
• Familiarity and comfort working with intensive needs students preferred
• Ability to assist with both academic and behavioral aspects in K-12 classrooms
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
• Flexible, reliable, and compassionate

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support tailored to individual student needs, including academic reinforcement and behavioral management
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and therapists to implement educational plans
• Assistance with personal care needs for students as required
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom atmosphere
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions
