Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs, history, and presenting issues.

• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies tailored to clients’ goals.

• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families either through video calls or in-person sessions, employing therapeutic techniques suitable for each unique situation.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay informed about new therapeutic approaches and best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will also support couples through challenges they face and assist families looking to strengthen their dynamic. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active LMFT licensure in Oregon; other licenses such as LCSW or LPC may also be accepted.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Proficient in using teletherapy tools and comfortable adapting to virtual therapy settings.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a plus.

• Prior experience working in community health settings or outpatient facilities.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Desmond Couple Therapy, Ltd offers competitive compensation with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
