Employee Relations Manager

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Employee Relations, you will provide guidance and advice on employee relations matters for staff employees at UCLA Health. Your responsibilities include reviewing disciplinary and employment-related documents/actions (FMLA, layoffs, work rules, etc.) and collaborating with department HR Reps and senior leadership to ensure proper HR procedures are followed. You will manage policy/contract administration, including interpretation, implementation, and management. Collaboration with various offices such as Compliance and Privacy Services, Staff Diversity & Compliance, Title IX, Risk Management, and others is essential to ensure best practices and compliance. As an Employee Relations Manager, you will represent UCLA Health in work-groups and committees to promote successful partnerships. You will orient management on policy and legal compliance, provide guidance and training, and assist in creating HR process protocols. Additionally, you will conduct investigations related to Title IX, sexual harassment, discrimination, whistleblower complaints, retaliation, and other workplace issues.
