About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of College Counseling to lead a dynamic team in providing a transformative college counseling experience for students and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and empowering a team of expert counselors, prioritizing communication and connectivity, and centering students while serving as the office's chief storyteller. This role requires a leader who can articulate a vision for a best-in-class college counseling program, manage the necessary systems and processes, and build strong relationships both within the school community and the broader college admission and counseling landscape. The Executive Director will be expected to be a thought leader, with a track record of engagement, and to demonstrate a commitment to the values of the institution, including the holistic development of students and the fostering of a diverse and inclusive environment. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have an exceptional background in independent school college counseling or selective college admissions, with expert knowledge of the college admission landscape and a robust professional network. The role demands a leader with strong project management skills, the ability to empower and support the growth of a team, and a commitment to personal and professional growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building productive relationships with high school students, parents, and colleagues, and will be adept at proactive and authentic communication.
