What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conduct both standard and complex laboratory tests spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, all while adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results with precision, resolve inconsistencies, and maintain lab equipment through routine calibration and maintenance.
• Assist in specimen collection processes and prepare samples efficiently when needed.
• Thoroughly document procedural steps, educate new staff or interns, and ensure laboratory quality standards remain high.
• Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• Hold ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure with us.
