Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual sessions with clients, utilizing thorough assessments to determine their mental health status and therapeutic needs.

• Design tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address specific issues faced by each client, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing regular check-ins and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress and support.

• Facilitate referrals to additional resources, including psychiatrists or community services, when clients require more specialized support or medication management.

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately within our EHR system to support continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights to enhance clinic practices.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health services available at our clinic, thereby promoting destigmatization and access to help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base experiencing an array of mental health challenges, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse issues. Understanding the unique cultural backgrounds and needs of our clients is crucial to delivering effective care, and we expect our counselors to apply culturally responsive practices in their therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid state license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is essential for this position.

• A minimum of four years of relatable experience in the mental health field, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosis and treatment.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, alongside the ability to deliver culturally competent therapy.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with an ability to remain composed during challenging situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health recording systems and other relevant computer applications to assist in patient management.

• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality standards in all client interactions.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in group therapy facilitation, particularly with culturally diverse populations, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
