Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments by utilizing a variety of methodologies to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and their families.

• Deliver evidence-based individual and group counseling sessions focusing on coping strategies, behavioral management, and emotional support to help clients address their unique challenges.

• Design, implement, and monitor personalized service plans that align with the goals and aspirations of each client, ensuring that they are actively engaged in the process.

• Advocate for the rights and access to resources for clients, while addressing broader social justice issues impacting their lives.

• Participate in community outreach and educational programs that foster awareness and understanding of available resources and support.

• Contribute to program development initiatives by evaluating current processes, recommending changes, and participating in grant reporting to ensure continuous improvement and funding sustainability.

Your primary focus will be on students and their families within the school environment, who face various socio-emotional challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family-related issues. Your work will directly impact their educational engagement, mental well-being, and overall resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to social justice principles, advocacy, and trauma-informed care strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong communication, empathy, and organizational abilities.
