Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students to identify emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, developing customized, strengths-based treatment plans.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused interventions.

• Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams—including educators, school counselors, and mental health professionals—to coordinate care, staying attuned to each client's unique circumstances and needs.

• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation that adheres to Medi-Cal standards and ethical practices, ensuring compliance and readiness for audits.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development, encouraging a culture of learning and shared expertise amongst peers.

• Engage in crisis intervention and advocacy initiatives, empowering clients to navigate their social contexts while promoting resilience and empowerment.

This role primarily focuses on a diverse population of students, including those facing trauma, co-occurring disorders, and social determinants of health that impact their educational experiences. Our LCSWs are committed to providing culturally responsive care that recognizes and honors the unique backgrounds and identities of our clients, including marginalized communities.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.

• A minimum of two years of experience in community mental health, outpatient therapy, or related behavioral health environments.
