This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with our team and students through virtual platforms. You will report directly to the Program Director and collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and other social workers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for students, including evaluating their history, concerns, and risk factors to determine appropriate interventions.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific mental health needs of each student, ensuring that goals align with their academic and personal growth.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to healthily address a variety of mental health issues.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions focused on fostering emotional regulation, coping mechanisms, and personal development.

• Engage in crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, using de-escalation strategies and facilitating referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.

• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions, available resources, and treatment options.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all assessments and treatment modalities in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring up-to-date records within an electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to promote communication and develop integrated treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and best practices concerning mental health within educational settings, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines.

The primary focus of this position will be serving the mental health needs of students from diverse backgrounds within a comprehensive school setting. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health or educational settings is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
