Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and circumstances, identifying strengths, and formulating individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.

• Develop and facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques that align with best practices in school-based mental health.

• Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and community services, providing vital referrals for resources such as food assistance, financial support, and healthcare access to enhance overall well-being.

• Effectively respond to crisis situations, including mental health emergencies and child welfare concerns, ensuring the safety and support of affected individuals.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress in a thorough manner, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in regular consultations with educational staff and other healthcare professionals to collaborate on supporting students’ emotional and mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.
