Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, emphasizing a flexible work arrangement that supports work-life balance while allowing you to engage directly with students and educational staff. As a remote clinician functioning at the intersection of behavioral health and educational needs, you will utilize telehealth tools and technologies to facilitate therapy sessions, assessment, and ongoing support for your caseload of clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to students, conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that address their mental health needs.

• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with teachers, school counselors, and other staff to create an integrated support system for students.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of the student population, helping them to develop coping strategies and resilience.

• Manage cases effectively, documenting client progress and ensuring compliance with organizational and ethical guidelines.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions when necessary, utilizing risk assessment tools to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with students facing major mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, and other severe emotional disturbances. Your primary focus will be on creating a supportive environment conducive to growth and recovery, by advocating for students' mental health needs within the school system. You will be instrumental in not only addressing their immediate mental health issues but also equipping them with tools for long-term resilience and success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is mandatory.

• Strong foundational knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, treatment methodologies, and crisis management specific to children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while engaging with diverse populations.

• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently while adapting to the needs of clients and the school environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinician working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a school or community setting is preferred.
